The aim of this report is to presents overall description of the services created in the VaVeL project. The services are divided into two groups (i) services dedicated for the citizens, (ii) services dedicated for the city authorities.
The report provides description of the following services:
(A) Services for Citizens
(a) Intelligent Transport Planner,
(b) Intelligent Emergency Response,
(c) Personalized Services to Citizens,
(d) Pollution Monitoring and Forecasting.
(B) City Services
(a) Improving City Services using Mobile Network Data
(b) Improving City Services using CCTV Data
The services for citizen are focused on public transport usage. The citizens can plan their travels using current data on the location of the public transport vehicles and issues on selected routes. The planner support persons with physical disabilities by selection of vehicles and stops
adopted for them. Additionally, the pollution monitoring and forecasting system gives the citizens information on the local environment.
The city services support public transport infrastructure planning and monitoring. It is done using statistical data from a cellular network and CCTV system.
The description of the services includes use cases of the created services and an overall resentation of used algorithms.
