Our VaVeL paper A Cognitive Map-Based Representation for Consumer Behaviour Modelling by Wladyslaw Homenda, Agnieszka Jastrzebska was awarded as the best paper at SEMAPRO' 2017.
The consortium organized a workshop on the scientific topic of VaVeL. The Mining Urban Data workshop was co-located with the ACM SIGKDD in London August 20th 2018. This was the third workshop of a successful series of MUD Workshops that have been organized at MUD@EDBT in 2014, at MUD2@ICML in 2015 and now at MUD3@SIGKDD in 2018.

A very productive meeting has just been completed in Athens, Greece. Hosted at the Univeristy of Athens campus in Athens. Moreover, the consortium discussed how to take advantage of the
reviewers' suggestions after VaVeL's first evaluation.
